TERRA EXOTICA – HEAT MAT STANDARD

The Terra Exotica heating mat – standard version is an excellent basic heating for most terrarium animals.
The mat produces a constant output of long-wave infrared radiation. This wavelength is invisible to the human eye and is similar to the warmth of natural sunlight. Only objects are heated, while the ambient temperature remains significantly lower. Reptiles absorb this heat in a similar way to nature when they sunbathe.
Due to the relatively small amount of direct heat emitted by the heating mat, reptiles cannot burn themselves if the heating mat is used correctly.
